Artist bio
I am an abstract painter from Copenhagen, Denmark. As a contemporary artist, I primarily work with water and acrylics on raw cotton canvas, drawing inspiration from the 1950s soak-stain technique. My process allows tones to flow and merge, using vibrant neuances and layered compositions to create immersive experiences for the viewer and influence the identity of the spaces where the paintings are displayed.
With a background in Human Geography I have always been interested in how aesthetic surroundings influence the way we perceive and feel within specific spaces—and how life unfolds in these unique environments. I have a deep appreciation for the concept of placeidentity, as it reflects the unique essence of a location and the emotions it evokes. Being part of shaping the identity of a space through my paintings brings me great joy.
Originals works and commisions
Collaborating with collectors to create pieces is a special part of my artistic practice. I enjoy creating paintings that enhance their specific surroundings, combining my techniques and style with the unique identity of the intended space. I also offer curated collections of original paintings — emerging from a more personal, intuitive space, available to collectors drawn to their presence and minimalistic character.
